The Chelsea Community Fairgrounds was a busy place Sunday beginning at 9 a.m. as folks brought in their entries for the hobby barn, which ranged from antiques to sunflower stalks with cakes, photographs, Lego creations, quilts and flowers in between.

In fact, Sunday night some of the early judging got underway for flowers, photographs and baking.

Be sure to stop by the Nature’s Creation of Life barn for sheep shearing on Tuesday, from 4-5 p.m., on Friday from 4-5 p.m. and on Saturday after the fair parade.

This year’s fair runs from Aug. 25-29.
