“Taste of Chelsea” returned to St. Mary Parish on Saturday, Oct. 4, as another way for the community to support the residents of St. Louis Center in a fun and unique way.

Twenty local food and beverage providers brought samples of their best food and drink to the parish, to be shared that night by 150 hungry local food connoisseurs. Fr. Enzo Addari of the Servants of Charity is the Administrator of St. Louis Center and remarked that, “We couldn’t survive in this financial climate without the support of our local community. We are truly grateful to all of the local restaurants and beverage providers, the corporate sponsors, and the people who bought admission tickets who supported this event.”

Supporters of the event included Arctic Breakaway, Aubree’s Pizzeria and Grill, Catered Coffee (formerly Bearclaw), Chelsea Ale House, Chelsea Big Boy, Common Grill, Dexter Cider Mill, Fr. Bill’s Rice Pudding, Indian Brook Trout Farm, Jiffy Mixes, Laura’s Catering, Mill Pond Bread, Polly’s Country Market, Reddeman Farms Golf Club, Smokehouse 52 BBQ, Thompson’s Pizzeria, Uptown Coney Island, Zingerman’s Creamery, and Zou Zou’s Cafe’.

Village Motors Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge was the lead corporate sponsor for the event.
