Beautiful weather and beautiful cars were the topic of the day at the 5th Annual St. Louis Center Car Show held on Sunday, Sept. 17.

An estimated 125 classic cars, new cars and everything in-between traveled to the rolling grounds of St. Louis Center, as their owners drove in to enjoy the atmosphere and polish up their cars and trucks, hoping to impress the judges who would be seeking out the top 25 winners, along with several “Best of” categories. Car owners and spectators arrived to the beat of music from the 50’s and 60’s played by DJ Jerry Martell, and a 65 ft. long fire truck with a ladder was proudly flying the American flag.

This year’s judges were headed by Jean Jennings, former editor-in-chief of Automobile Magazine, and included Diane Flis-Schneider, executive director of Concours of America, Jason Fogelson, 2016 president of Motor Press Guild, Bob Boniface, director of Buick Exterior Design, Kyle Edward of Drive Tribe, Joe DeMatio of Hagerty, Tim Jennings and Tom Stepp. Bubba Cowan from the “Breakfast with Bubba” morning show on 102.9 W4Country did a live remote program from 2-4 p.m. and also selected his favorite for the “Bubba’s Choice” award.

St. Louis Center is located in Sylvan Township, and has been providing residential service for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1960.
