Chelsea House Orchestra puts on amazing Hometown Show (with slide show)

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Stephanie Dever, Lisa Rudgers and Jamie Adkins for the information and photos in this story.)

The Chelsea High School auditorium was rocking on Saturday, Jan. 30 as the Chelsea House Orchestra (CHO) played their annual Hometown Show.

They were treated to an opening by the Fiddle Club, which is comprised of students in 4-8th grade in Chelsea Schools. Then CHO took the stage and brought the room to its feet for a standing ovation at the end of their set.

You could see toes tapping and even some little ones dancing in the aisles as the night progressed. Guests were treated to an afterglow when the show was over and students answered questions, took compliments and posed for photos with friends and family.

Next up for CHO is a trip to Grand Haven in March for the Grand Haven Irish Fest followed by the ever popular Alma Highland Festival and Games on Memorial Day weekend. All this will be warming the group up to perform overseas for the first time in Scotland this July.
