The Monitor and Merries Base Ball Clubs of Chelsea will host their third annual Tallies for Charity on Sunday, June 19 at 2 p.m. at Timbertown.

There will be two games ongoing for spectators and both support a good cause.

The clubs will be helping support the fundraiser ‘Feeding Children in Flint,’ organized by University Bank in Ann Arbor, which will be taking place the following day Monday, June 20.

The fundraiser will benefit St. Luke N.E.W. Life Center Food Pantry and Catholic Charities of Shiawassee and Genesee Counties, which both assist feeding children in Flint when they are not in school.

A 100 percent of the donations from both base ball matches and the following day in Ann Arbor will go toward this effort.

Come watch a couple fun and exciting games of 1860-rules baseball and help support a great cause. Donations of any size will be greatly appreciated. There is no charge for admission to come enjoy the games, nor is there any required donation. For more information, contact [email protected].

More details on the fundraiser in Ann Arbor on June 20 can be found at:  www.university-bank.com/feedflintkids.
