In a pleasant change for Farmer’s Market shoppers, Park Street will close this summer to allow the market to spill across the road. Before it was moved to Pierce Park, before people painted the lovely tributes (to births, deaths, birthdays and even philosophical musings) you see on this site in the gallery to the right, even before high schoolers scrawled graffiti on it, the rock existed as a local landmark.
It may not feel like this this morning – 31 degrees?? brrrrr – but spring has definitely come to Chelsea, no matter what the calendar or thermometer says.
A new field hockey league for girls is starting up in Chelsea, and it’s not too late to register.
