Love It! So glad a my brother-in-law in Dexter let me know about the AAChronicle article.
Would you consider a section on non-profits, where we (I’m treasurer for the Chelsea Lions Club) could post our activites, along with Rotary, Kiwanis, and other service clubs? I’d promise not to deluge you with info, but we have had consistent difficulty in getting the Chelsea Standard to post our information about our involvement in the community. Maybe a separate link for Service Clubs, where only people interested could check it out.

Nice work. Are you aware of the Chelsea Police Dept’s new NIXLE community advisory service? You should sign up.
The Chief did me the honor of letting me be one of the test guinea pigs for NIXLE – it’s very nice! I’ll confess that I’m still working on integrating NIXLE alerts with the nicely typed public safety reports I’ve been picking up from the office on Middle there every week, but it’ll happen.

I just wanted to thank you for this site. I moved to Memphis, Tenn., in 2008 and, since hearing about Chelsea Update, I’ve been able to keep up with the news and happenings in my hometown. It’s an invaluable source of information for residents and others. Such regular updates and useful info are almost unheard of with ANY blog, but especially what I would imagine from one about a small town. Keep it up! And thank you again.
