Aug. 14: Chelsea Kiwanis to hear about Chelsea PTO

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Bob Milbrodt for the information in this story.)

This Monday, the Chelsea Kiwanis Club will hear from representatives from the Chelsea Parent Teachers Organization (PTO).

Club members look forward to hearing about how the children and the schools benefit from the work they do all year. Kiwanis is planning to support the Bulldog Jog again this year and members enjoy working with the PTO on Punt,  Pass, and Kick event in September.

The club is looking for additional projects to benefit the kids and PTO. Members have been collecting box tops to present to the PTO Monday night. Each box tops adds 10 cents to the cause.

The club meeting begins each Monday at 6:15 p.m. in the St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Hospital cafeteria, and the speakers begin at about 6:45 p.m. Everyone is invited to the club’s meetings to learn about Kiwanis.
