The Chelsea Farmers Market takes place each Saturday from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Palmer parking lot.

Chelsea Update is profiling vendors at the Chelsea Farmers Market and this week Brieland Schoultz is the featured vendor.

By Lisa Carolin

Greg Shoultz and Joan Brieland live in Lyndon Township and are in their second year as vendors at the Saturday Farmers Market.

“My wife always wanted to have a farm and now we have one,” said Shoultz. “I do most of the labor in the garden, and my wife focuses on the chickens and making jam and soap.”

They have 70 laying hens that produce their eggs. In the garden, they grow traditional vegetables.

“We like being close to home and selling to our neighbors and friends,” said Shoultz.

Below is the list of vendors who are expected to be there. Please keep in mind that sometimes the vendors aren’t able to attend the market and that planned products are not available.
