On Wednesday, Aug. 27, the Washtenaw County Road Commission will impose daytime road closures on three roads for gravel resurfacing.
The road improvements are anticipated to be completed in one day.
- Fahrner Road – Old US-12 to Garvey Road
- Kalmbach Road – Garvey Road to I-94
- Hayes Road – Old US-12 to Sharon Township Line
During these daytime activities through traffic will be prohibited and alternate routes are advised.
Local access for properties within the road closure will be maintained, however, delays are possible.
All road work is weather dependent.
To maintain the safety of road crews, motorists are asked to be especially mindful of construction equipment and personnel and reduce speeds accordingly. The Road Commission thanks you in advance for your patience as we continue our efforts to preserve the county road system.
