The Beach Middle School 8th grade gold volleyball team came in second in the SEC tournament at Pinckney by winning 9 out of 13 games on Saturday.
Everyone played together as a team and contributed to the day’s success. Erin Dusenbury, Sage Barney, and McKenna Major each served and set well and had great hustle.
Kristina Skiotys, Bethany Aquilino, Olivia Camburn, Reese Johnson, and Mallory Meads all passed, hit and served under pressure. Ellie McGlashen and Lily June also had great passing and serves. They both led the day with the most kills and intimidation at the net.
It was an exciting day with many come-from-behind, wins. Congratulations girls. Great teamwork.
