7th Grade Gold
The 7th Grade Gold Basketball team defeated Monroe by a score of 17-9 Monday night.
Riley Davis and Kayla Sweeney each had 10 points. Jackie Hagen, Brynn Vandergrift, and Paulina Perkins all scored for the Bulldogs. Allison Hale played with great effort on defense.
The team plays at home on Thursday.
7th Grade Blue
The 7th Grade Blue basketball team lost a hard fought game yesterday to Bedford. The team is playing hard and building for the future. Stay positive girls.
8th Grade Gold
The 8th Grade Gold Bulldogs are now 2-1 as of Monday night beating Monroe 23-14.
Jenna Fosdick had four points, a handful for rebounds and a solid block.
Ava Gerweck made her goal for the season of making a basket for 2 points.
Briana Hay had 7 points and many assists.
Madeleine Kennedy had 8 points and multiple rebounds.
Gabby Udell had three points and was quick to drive to the basket. Jamie Gorman also scored her first points of the season landing a bucket.
Caitlyn Dusenbury was on fire with her offense and defense. Julia Schachinger played extremely aggressive to get some crucial rebounds in the second half.
Peyton Lajiness pumped up the team both on and off the court and played good defense.
The girls look forward to taking on Bedford on Thursday at home.
8th Grade Blue
The 8th Grade Blue basketball team played an outstanding game and beat Bedford Monday night at home.
The girls would like to thank all their parents who were there for the support along with the more than 200 students in the student section.
The team was scoring at such an alarming rate they burnt out a few light bulbs on the scoreboard.
Playing well for the Dawgs were Skylar Staton, Maddie Vasquez, Julia VanReesma, Jordan Holton, Emmy Bragg, Maddie Kemp, Natalie Schneider, Helena Schultz, Allie Muchler, Shae Wright, Alex Chalogianis, and Corrine Dale.
