Beach Middle School basketball recap from Tuesday

The 7th Grade Blue Basketball team won the first game of the season on Tuesday, Nov. 11.

Ryan Spadafore, Kyle Knight, Adam Hauser, and Owen Brown led a strong defensive effort in allowing Monroe only 3 points in the first three quarters.

The 7th Grade Gold Basketball team started the season with a tough loss to Bedford by a score of 15-13.

Patrick Kelleher led the team in scoring with 7 points.  Chris White had 6 points, and Ross Stofflet and Sam Michael each had 5 points.  Max Konschuh added 3 points for the Bulldogs.  Josiah Fitch did a great job defending and rebounding against a very big Bedford team.

The 8th Grade Blue Team defeated Monroe Tuesday night, 32-15.

Playing well for the Bulldogs were Noah French, Quinn Starkey, Hunter Neff, Dane Zorn, and Brennan Czerwinski.  The team played great defense and showed toughness throughout the game.

The 8th Grade Gold Basketball team played a physical game against Bedford Tuesday night.

The team played great as a whole and won the first half with a 26-25 score. The team battled to the very end and worked great defensively to cause 13 turnovers in the second half as well.  Although the final score was 21-28, the team never gave up.

Evan Vaughn contributed with six points and 4 rebounds, while Gavin and Griffin Bell combined to score 19 points and secure 17 rebounds.  Hunter Lay ended the game with 3 three pointers, while Parker Shaw played lock down defense and had an important charge that helped start the offense.
