The Beach Middle School girls and boys cross country teams ran very well yesterday in the SEC Jamboree #2 meet at Hudson-Mills Metro Park.
Twelve girls and 14 boys ran their PRs at the race.
Specific standout races for girls included Kayla Jones, Karly Nickel, Sarah Kennings, and Morgan Kurth, who placed 16th out of 143 runners.
For the boys, standouts included Brendan Hackett, Louie Guthre, Destri Schreiber, and Joseph Norwood who placed 35th out of 158 runners.
