The Beach Middle School 8th Grade Girls’ Gold basketball team won their first game against Dexter Tuesday night, 11-4.
The girls started the season out strong defensively and had a lot of rebounds.
Those who scored were Madeleine Kennedy with two points, several rebounds, and swats. Brittany Stevenson had four points. Jenna Fosdick had three points and led the way with rebounds. Caitlin Dusenbury had one point and lastly, Briana Hay had six points.
Julia Schertzinger, Emily Strzyzewski and Ava Gerwick had an awesome defensive game.
