Jesse Jacobusse, Anna Knight, and Selena Shanley played well on both sides of the floor in helping the Beach Middle School 8th Grade Girls’ Basketball Team to a victory over Bedford on Jan. 31.
With the score tied 15-15 at the end of regulation – the girls’ outscored Bedford 5-4 in overtime for the win.
The 7th Grade Blue Girls’ Basketball Team lost to Bedford on Jan. 31 by a score of 9-5.The team is working hard to get better each day. The girls show great effort, hustle and attitude and soon the shots will fall in our favor. Playing well last night were Anna Regis, Caroline Hirth, Alise Hale, Katelyn McKinley, Jordan Seitz, Nina White and Grace Bush.
The 7th Grade Gold Girls’ Basketball Team defeated Monroe on Jan. 31 by a score of 12-5. Paige Stacy, Emily Griggs, Brianna Loucks, Rachel Melody, and Kendall Tucker scored in the game. Zoe Steigerwald and Kaehla Manly led the defense with numerous steals.
