The 7/8 grade Beach Middle School lacrosse team played Dexter Middle School at Pierce Lake field on April 21, and Dexter won 10-1.
For the first game of the season, the Bulldogs showed a lot of heart and determination said Coach Fred van Reesema.
“It was the first game for a lot of the players, and as a team they played beyond expectations,” he said.
Anthony Gervais played his first game as the goaltender, and did an outstanding job.
The lone goal was scored by Max Gervais.
