February was a busy month for Quiz Bowl competitions at Beach Middle School.
In the sixth-grade Quiz Bowl, 6th Grade Gold beat the Anonymouses. The Gold team was led by Captain Barrett Krueger, Caleb Peterson, Brandon Grzadzinski, Liam Juergens, and Devon Reginaldo.
In the seventh-grade Quiz Bowl, the winner was the Fitness Gram Pacer Test led by Captain Evan Sing, along with teammates Landon Napieralski, Michael Struk, Jace DeRosia, Forrest Gorby, and alternate Chase Seaberg.
The winning eighth-grade Quiz Bowl team was the Semi-Aquatic Egg-Laying Mammals of Action (in a Fez) team. The captain was Noah DeGraff, and team members were Charles Korner, Evan Edit, Jimmy Ostler, Luke Vella, and alternate Nate Henry.
The championship sixth-grade Beach Quiz Bowl team represented the school at the Southeast Michigan Quiz Bowl event in Saline, and the seventh and eighth-grade champions represented Beach at a match sponsored by Southeast Michigan Middle-Level Administrators Association.
