Beach Middle School volleyball recap from Monday

The 7th Grade Blue Volleyball team won the first game of their match with Lincoln Monday night, 25-22, but lost the 2nd and 3rd.

Morgan DeYoe led with 9 service points, Marianna Carpenter had 5, Riley McGuffin 4, Kelsey Weinreich and Abbie Blough each had 3, Olivia Beauchamp, Kiersten Anstead, Allison Hale and Rachel Koziminski each had 1.

The 7th Grade Gold Volleyball team played their best game of the year Monday night against Lincoln.

Grace Suntheimer had 9 service points, one ace and a ridiculous save to win the game point. Emma McDonald served 13 points with 3 aces and had one back row save. Abbey Sexton was on fire both at the net and defensively with a good save. Brynn Vandergrift dominated the court as well with and it must have been a night to huddle because she too had an awesome save.  We can’t forget about Logan Brosnan, who continuously set every one up for a good game.

The 8th Grade Gold Volleyball dominated Lincoln during their first two games winning 25-16 and 25-11.

Great serving from Sierra Law, Shae Wright, and Jamie Gorman was the key.  Other highlights included a dig out of the net by Caitlin Dusenbury, two hits and a kill from Sierra, and aggressive play from Ali MuchlerAshley Watson and Lindsey Atkinson played good defense as well.
