The Beach Middle School wrestling team took on the Lincoln Railsplitters Wednesday at the Washington Street Education Center and won by a score of 60-51.
Mitchell Reynolds wrestled well and was able to defeat one of the better Lincoln wrestlers 14-6. The match was close heading into the 3rd period, but he was able to score 9 points in the period to secure the win. Earlier in the evening, Reynolds pinned his first opponent in the 1st period.
The only other wrestler to win 2 matches was Parker Stahl.
The last match, Louie Guthrie was able to pin his Railspliiter opponent in the 1st period.
Other wrestlers to win one match on the evening was Trevor Ackley, Brandon deGracia, Gabe Vowles, Andrew Byerly, Jack Conlin, Tom Kennings, and Zachary Dosey.
The wrestlers will next compete Saturday in the Chelsea Tournament at the Chelsea High School.
