The Beach Middle School wrestling team hosted the Tecumseh Indians Thursday and came away with a 52-39 victory.
The highlight of the evening was John Putnam’s 2nd period pin of his Tecumseh opponent.
Special congratulations is in order for Jack Maloney who won his match with a 1st period pin over a Tecumseh opponent, who had previously defeated him earlier this season.
Other wrestlers who were able to win at least one match Thursday were:
Jonas Norwood, Jake Kunzelman, Daniel Garza, Dalton Grabarczyk, Dominic Guthre, Cole Munson, Nolan Sinkwitts, AJ Tokarski, Grayson Eckland, Ty Wagner, Henry Lantis, Brian Morgans, Dillon Hutchison, and Ian Carter.
The wrestlers next travel to the Holt Invitational today.
