The Beach Middle School wrestlers traveled to Saline to take on the Hornets Thursday.
Raiden Weston had an impressive 2nd period pin over his Hornet opponent. Another match that stood out was by Daniel Garza, who won an impressive 8-3 decision over a very tough opponent.
Other wrestlers to win at least one match were John Putnam, Dalton Grabarczyk, Dominic Guthre, Zachary Byerly, AJ Tokarski, Jack Maloney, Ty Wagner, and Zach Breining.
The wrestlers are off for the holiday weekend and next week is the last week of the middle school season. The wrestlers host Pinckney at the WSEC on Friday Feb. 24 and travel to the Jr. JAWS tournament in Jackson on Feb. 25.
