The Chelsea Kiwanis Club will welcome Chelsea High School Athletic Director and Head Bulldog Football Coach Brad Bush to its meeting on Monday, April 20, beginning at 6:15 p.m. in the St. Joseph Mercy-Chelsea Hospital cafeteria.

He will be speaking to a large crowd beginning at 6:45 p.m., and everyone is invited to the meetings to learn about Kiwanis.

This meeting is the Chelsea Kiwanis’ turn to host a Superinterclub. An interclub happens whenever members from one club visit another.

A Superinterclub invites members from all the clubs in a division and our division consists of most of the clubs in Washtenaw County: Ann Arbor (3), Ypsilanti, Milan, Saline, Manchester, and Chelsea, explains Bob Milbrodt.

In other Kiwanis news, this is the last weekend of the first of three Adopt a Highway pickups for 2015 (April, July, September). We have invited our Kiwanis Family — Chelsea Key Club, University of Michigan Circle K Club, and Chelsea Kiwanis, Milbrodt says.

“We have been policing our “adopted” 3-mile stretch of I-94 since the program was started in 1990 by the Michigan Department of Transportation,” he said.
