(Chelsea Update would like to thank coach Eric Swager for the information in this story. Full results are at the bottom in a pdf.)

Chelsea boys’ track and field finished third in the Chelsea Relays on Friday, April 20.

“First of all, thanks to all volunteers, parents, fans, coaches, etc. who made this year’s Chelsea Relays a rousing success said coach Eric Swager. “We put on an efficient, fun meet…and it did help that the weather was beautiful.”

The Bulldog placings were led by the distance squad, who finished 1st in all three of their relays. The DMR and 4×800 teams each set meet records, and the 4×800 time is the fastest in Division 2 so far this year.

In the 4×3200 relay, Chelsea completed a “perfect” sweep of places, finishing 1-4 in the field of 32 men.

The Kruse Relay guys earned runner-up medals, while several individuals had outstanding performances.
