The Bulldog boys Track and Field Team took home a number of medals Tuesday night in Dexter at the Larry Steeb Meet of Champions.
Highlights included:
Mike Smith winning the discus
Noah Van Reesema, 3rd in the 300 hurdles
The two sprint relay teams (McDowell, Nelson, Skogheim, Policht), and (McDowell, Nelson, Skogheim, Buckley)
Ty McTaggart threw a lifetime best in the shot put to finish 5th.
“It was great to see distance runners Matt Proegler and Joe Vermilye finish their high school careers with near PR performances, and very solid efforts,” said Coach Eric Swager, who added, “This is a nice tune up for the state championship, to be held this Saturday in Zeeland. I am excited for our performance this weekend.”
