The Chelsea girls golf team played in the state meet held at Bedford Valley Golf Course in Battle Creek on Oct. 14-15.
The Bulldogs shot a team score of 423 the first day, which was not our best, but things are different when playing at that level said coach Joe Ewald.
The girls followed it up with a much better score of 408 on the second day, 16 shots better, to end the season on a positive note, and a 16th place finish.
“We were hoping we could have finished a few places higher up the list, but I am Very proud of the girls, and it was a great accomplishment for us to qualify to play there,” Ewald said.
