Chelsea has openings on Planning Commission, DDA

The City of Chelsea has openings on two boards and is looking for interested residents. There are two openings on the Downtown Development Authority and three vacancies on the Planning Commission

Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Board Members:  Two vacancies to fill.  One term expires Dec. 12, 2016 and the other term expires Dec. 31, 2017. Board member must be a City of Chelsea resident or own/operate a business in the DDA district.

There is information about the DDA on the city’s website, click on DDA. Meetings are held the third Thursday of every month at 7:30 a.m. at the City Council Chambers. Specific questions can be directed to Mayor Jason Lindauer at [email protected] or call 475-1771, ext. 212.

Planning Commission Board Members: Three vacancies to fill. Two terms expire June 2016 and one term expires June 2017. Board member must be a City of Chelsea resident.

Applications can be picked up at the City Office, found on the city website here, click on ‘Clerk’, then ‘Board/Committee Application’.
