The beauty of living in a small town is that people genuinely care about each other.

Two weeks ago, the Chelsea Varsity Hockey team gave a day of service to their community by raking leaves for senior citizens in town.

Last Saturday, the Chelsea Kiwanis worked with a group of students from the Chelsea High School Key Club and the U-M Circle K Club to continue this service for our local seniors.

It’s inspiring to know that all of these individuals gave up part of their weekends to do a simple good deed … what a great small town gesture.
