Chelsea Kiwanis Club reviews 2016 expenses

Below is a list of the last four Chelsea Kiwanis Club committee expenditures.

Community Service Committee spent $7,036.33 on the following:
Western Washtenaw Area Value Express – transportation services
Chelsea Senior Center – program support Recognition
Dinner for area first responders
Celebration Dinner for area farmers
Faith in Action – program support
Chelsea Community Fair – in memory of Walt Zeeb
Chelsea’s Timbertown Playground – maintenance

Fund Raising Committee spent $30,775.89 on the following:
Annual Fruit Sale – citrus
Food Concession Expense
Food Concession Trailer – maintenance

Membership Growth, Education and Retention Committee spent $4,088.41 on the following:
International Dues
Kiwanis Magazine/Insurance
Michigan District Dues
Michigan District Division 10

Meetings, Activities, and Public Relations spent $7,140.51 on the following:
Meals for guests
Website and brochures

Administrative expense
Convention and Meeting expense

The club meeting begins each Monday at 6:15 p.m. in the St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Hospital cafeteria, and the speakers begin at about 6:45 p.m.
