This Monday, the Chelsea Kiwanis Club will hear from Stacy Lorne from the Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan.
She represents more than 19,000 girls and 6,000 adult volunteers in 34 Michigan counties participating in scouting.
Chelsea is home to 20 troops with the potential for many more. Girls can take part with their troops on overnight or day camps, attend events, and travel as a group. Troops are girl led, where they learn by doing.
The club meeting begins each Monday at 6:15 p.m. in the St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Hospital cafeteria, and the speakers begin at about 6:45 p.m. Everyone is invited to the club’s meetings to learn about Kiwanis.
