Chelsea Police seek suspects in early morning store B and E

Chelsea Police are asking residents for their help in an early morning burglary in the 1100 block of South Main in the city.

At about 4 a.m., Friday, March 7, a black male and another masked male gained entry to a business by prying the rear door open, according to the police report.

The suspects subsequently stole a large number of items and placed them in what appears to be a blue pillowcase.

The suspects fled the area within 3 minutes of gaining entry, according to the police report.

The police released the following descriptions:

Black male wearing Timberland-style brown boots, black pants, black sweatshirt, and a black baseball cap. Subject appears to be “between younger to middle aged.”

Unknown male wearing Timberland-style brown boots, dark colored pants, white hooded sweatshirt, and a dark colored bandana or mask over his face. Suspect is seen carrying a large, 3-4 foot long pry bar.

Both subjects appear to be of average size and height.
