I was unable to attend Monday’s Chelsea City Council meeting, but I spent the 1.5 hours to listen to the proceedings, which can be found here.
I urge city residents to, at the very least, listen to the city auditor’s overview of the city’s finances, which received an “unqualified audit,” the highest opinion level. There were a lot of kudos given to the city for the ways in which it has handled its finances.
And I offer my congratulations to Kim Garland and city staff for a job well done, which were highlighted by glowing comments from the city auditors.
