(Chelsea Update is running a series on businesses in Chelsea beginning with businesses that belong to the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce.)

Customer service is what Chelsea Village Flowers prides itself on.

“We strive to give our community an experience that is custom to each order, personable and professional,” said owner Jennifer Bollinger. “We deliver within Chelsea, Dexter, Grass Lake, Manchester, Stockbridge, Pinckney, Gregory, Hamburg, and Ann Arbor.”

Bollinger says that Chelsea Village Flowers belongs to FTD and to Teleflora so that they can provide long-distance orders as well.

Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce logoThe shop has been servicing Chelsea since October of 2003 and is at 112 East Middle St.

“When I began, I had the opportunity to open a shop in Ann Arbor, but Chelsea was where I wanted to be,” said Bollinger.

She had worked in the industry for six years before opening her store and had built many relationships in the area.

“I wanted to continue to grow the relationships I had and reach out to new faces in the area,” said Bollinger. “I have always had a strong sense of community, and I wanted to be located in Chelsea to be in a position to serve the city and to be able to give back to the community that I was raised in.”
