Dec. 12: Kiwanis Club to discuss plans for 2017

kiwanis(Chelsea Update would like to thank Bob Milbrodt for the information in this story.)

The Chelsea Kiwanis Club hosted an evening with Chelsea’s and Dexter’s Key Clubs last week.

These young people deserve congratulations for stepping up to serve others.  They set an example for the rest of us to follow.  Most of us are serving others every day, our children, our parents, our co-workers, our customers, our nation, the list goes on and on. It is as good a reason as any for why we are here on Earth.

Thanks so much to all who purchased fruit during our 41st Annual Kiwanis Fruit Sale. It is our second largest fund raising project, (after our food concession trailer), and helps us continue the service to Chelsea’s children through many projects.

Please look for upcoming reports detailing our work in town for the past year.  Thanks to Chelsea Update for giving us the platform to keep everyone informed.

On Monday, the club members will review the fruit sale results and discuss plans for 2017.

The club meeting begins each Monday at 6:15 p.m. in the St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Hospital cafeteria, and the speakers begin at about 6:45 p.m.

Everyone is invited to the club’s meetings to learn about Kiwanis.
