If you are ready to make the commitment to care for a pet, come out to Wags to Wiskers (1188 South Main St.) Saturday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to meet several wonderful animals, who are all ready to find a home.

The Age of Miracles Animal Rescue is running the adoption event.

Among those at Wags to Wiskers Saturday will be Mia, a one-and-a-half-year old female Sharpei mix rescued from the Saginaw County animal shelter. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

“Mia loves to play and loves toys and is good with other dogs,” said Tara Stone, a volunteer for the Age of Miracles.

Holly, Rudy, and Misty, kittens who have spent their first five months in a shelter, will also be at Wags to Wiskers along with Fantasy, a 3-year-old cat, who fought back from injuries to raise a healthy litter of kittens.

The adoption fee is $50 for cats and $120 for dogs.
