Luminaries on Main Street

6 – 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday night, lighting up Main Street.
Presented by the Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts of Chelsea. Sponsored by The Garden Mill.

Tree Lighting Ceremony and Santa Arrives
6 – 6:30 p.m. @ Pierce Park, Main Street.
Santa makes his appearance on a fire engine and the 2014 Chelsea Community Fair Queen lights the Holiday tree to start the festivities. Music from CHS choirs.

Visit with Santa and Santa’s Workshop
6:30 – 8:30 p.m. @ The Chelsea Historic Depot, 125 Jackson Street.
Bring your camera to get a photo with Santa and make gifts in his workshop. Sponsored by Chelsea Children’s Co-op.

Live Nativity Scene
Two shows: 6:30 and 7 p.m., next to the Chelsea First United Methodist church, 128 Park Street.
Includes live animals and Christmas choir.

Common Chords Concert
7 – 8 p.m. @ Chelsea District Library McKune Room, 221 S. Main Street. The Common Chords hand bell choir will perform a holiday concert with refreshments.

Cookie Decorating
6:30 – 8:30 p.m. @ Chelsea ATA Martial Arts, 420 N. Main Street. Free cookies, icing, and sprinkles are ready for your decorating creativity.  Martial artists will demonstrate techniques with children participation.

Story Telling
6:30 – 8:30 p.m. @ Chelsea’s Farmers Supply, 122 Jackson Street (across from The Depot).  Children gather to hear favorite holiday stories  and to sing familiar Christmas carols.

Chelsea Area Historical Museum
6:30 – 8:30 p.m. @ Chelsea Area Historical Museum , 128 Jackson Street (across from The Depot) Explore Chelsea’s new museum showcasing vintage holiday decor.  

Merchant Events

Merchant Events and Activities – There are numerous activities, presentations and holiday specials going on all weekend at participating merchants in Chelsea.
