Feb. 1: Chelsea Downtown Development Authority to hold budget work session

When the Chelsea Downtown Development Authority Board (DDA) meets on Thursday, Feb. 1 for a work session to discuss the FY 2018-19 budget, there will be two new members.

The Chelsea City Council recently approved Mayor Melissa Johnson’s recommendation for the appointment of Doris Galvin and Stephanie Moran to the board.

This brings the number of DDA members up to 11 people. And, it’s expected that the city council will soon receive a request from the DDA board to reduce by one member the total number on the board.

The DDA FY runs from July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019.

The DDA meets in the council chambers inside the municipal building at 7:30 a.m.
