Chelsea Community Hospital extends its gratitude to Cynthia and Irving Feller of Sylvan Township, who will host a garden party and wine tasting to benefit the hospital’s new Comprehensive Cancer Center on Thursday, Sept. 6 from 5-8 p.m.

Guests will enjoy appetizers, strolling dinner and dessert buffets and wines from around the world at the Fellers’ Cavanaugh Lake home and gardens, according to information about the event.

The property includes landscaped terraces and gardens and there will be tours of the greenhouse, heirloom tomato, vegetable, and Dahlia gardens. They may also walk through the 12 terraces, showcasing conifers, perennial gardens, more prized dahlias, potted arrangements, a spice garden, the Demon Arbor, hostas, a stream, and Bali gazebo.

Chelsea Community Hospital’s Comprehensive Cancer Center is scheduled to open in the Spring of 2014 in collaboration with Ann Arbor Hematology Oncology Associates and Huron River Radiation Oncology Specialists to provide services to the local communities.
