On a cold, overcast night, the Chelsea Girls won big against Ypsilanti Community on our home track and field, 117 to 18.
Highlights:
1sts in the 4x200m and 4x400m relays.
The girls swept the 400m dash, 800m, 1600m, 3200m, shot, and disc.
1st and 2nds in 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, and long jump.
2nds in the 100m and 200m dash.
1st place finishers in the dual meet were:
- Sydney Matusik in the 400m dash (62.0)
- Lauren Olk in the 3200m (14:25.27)
- Karana Wickens in the 800m dash (2:38.16)
- Allison Hughes in the 1600m (5:53.46)
- Laney Miller in the 300m hurdles (53.13)
- Hannah Almhiemid in the 100m hurdles (16.51)
- Lily Francisco in shot (31′ 6″)
- Rachel Valek in the disc (85′ 2″)
