If you’d like to see your ballot before you head to the polls on Tuesday, please click here.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and you are reminded to bring your ID with you to the polls. You will be asked to present valid photo ID, such as a Michigan driver’s license or identification card.
Anyone who does not have an acceptable form of photo ID or failed to bring it with them to the polls still may vote. The person will be required to sign a brief affidavit stating that he or she is not in possession of photo ID. The ballot will be included with all others and counted on Election Day.
Anyone with NO ID should be turned away!
NO ID – YOU DON’T GET TO VOTE! This law needs to be CHANGED
That’s an idiotic comment. As if anyone is willing to risk federal prison time (or deportation) to cast one single vote…especially when we all think our vote does not count anyway. We need an antidote in this country to FOX News and its campaign of fear and voter intimidation.
The link to michigan.gov is broken. The period (dot) after
vote should be removed from the link.
It’s now fixed. Sorry about that.
I disagree Susan. I have a registration card that for 30 plus years was valid.
Agreed, this law needs to change. Can’t cash a check without ID but can vote for the President of the United States withOUT one!?
When did we become so casual about our Country?
