Heart-&-Sole-Printable-Registration-2013Thinking ahead to May 4 (and warmer weather), please support this year’s Heart & Sole Race that benefits the terrific Chelsea Grace Clinic.

The race includes a 10K run, 5K and 2-mile runs, a 2-mile walk, as well as a 13.8 mile bike ride.

Dr. Diane Howlin, founder and director of Grace Clinic, which is located inside the Faith in Action building, said funds raised will be used to expand clinic space and hours to maintain services and to serve more patients.

“Grace Clinic provides medical primary care to the uninsured and underinsured in Western Washtenaw county,” Howlin said.

The clinic is open one Saturday per month and there are both internal medicine and family medicine doctors who trade off providing care.

They are Doctors Randy Forsch,  Jim Peggs, Carla Page, David Miller,  David Wesorick,  John Crump, Howlin and  Nicole Tromble.

The clinic opened in 2001 under the name Hope Clinic.
