From Jan. 12-Feb. 12, the Chelsea District Library will host a photo exhibit titled “Walk to Freedom: a Martin Luther King Jr. Photographic Exhibit” in the library lobby, which is suitable for all ages.

The exhibit is on loan from the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit and focuses on Dr. King’s visit to Detroit where he delivered his famous “I Have a Dream” speech on June 23, 1963.

It also provides photographs and biographical information on his life, as well as his lasting legacy of fighting for the rights to which every person is entitled.

Note: The exhibit will be unavailable for viewing on Jan. 19-20.
