Transition Town Chelsea will meet on Monday, Jan.15 at 6:30 p.m. at the Chelsea Senior Center, 512 E. Washington St.

Adam “Fuzzy” Konner will be speaking to the group about the local currency called Common Good that he co-founded in Ann Arbor less than three years ago.

Now a growing list of businesses in the area have welcomed the currency.

Learn what Common Good is, how it works, why we would trust in it, the broader social mission that it supports, and – hopefully – how we may spread it to Chelsea. It is easy for individuals to join Common Good. Get a card, transfer money to it, and start to use it at local businesses.
A free potluck meal will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the presentation starts at about 7:15.

If coming to the potluck meal, please bring a dish to pass and your own place settings.
