Now in its sixth week, Sounds and Sights on Thursday Nights, presented by Golling Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Chelsea, continues its free summer concert series Thursday, July 14th from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

This week the Chelsea Monitor Base Ball team will provide old-time games for kids of all ages across from the Clocktower Gazebo. The team will be promoting the 2nd Ironclad Vintage Base Ball Festival, which takes place Saturday, July 16, at Chelsea High School. Across from the games, Town Band will be performing vintage band music at the Clocktower Gazebo.

The music continues with the more modern sound of alternative rockers, Liquid Plasma, at Sylvan Courtyard.  The School of Rock A2 returns with a line-up of current students at the Gazier stage, and Stormfront performs classic rock favorites at East Middle Street.

The Shelter Dogs perform Americana at South Street and Peter and Ralph duo bring roots music to the Chelsea Alehouse Brewery.

Sounds and Sights welcomes two new acts this week: singer-songwriter, Robyn, at the East Alley stage and bluegrass group, King Family Band, at the library lawn.

Fun for the whole family continues with Eric the Juggler at the Clocktower Courtyard stage, and 3 Generations Balloons for the kids at Main Street Alley.

Chelsea Chalk Art, beneath the Chelsea Clocktower on Main Street, provides chalk and drawing examples for all ages and levels of expertise.  The theme this week is “Space Invaders”.

After Sounds and Sights on Thursday Nights, SRSLY Cinema presents free outdoor movies at dusk. This week SRSLY presents Tooth Fairy (PG).
