There will be an informational session about public transportation for older adults in Western Washtenaw County on Thursday, July 30 from 1-2:30 p.m. in the Dancey House Theater Room at Chelsea Retirement Community, 805 West Middle St.
The session is being organized by The Blueprint for Aging, a collaborative of seniors, family members, nonprofits, businesses, and government agencies working to improve services, care, and quality of life for older adults in Washtenaw.
Michaelene Pawlak of Western Area Value Express (WAVE) plus Vanessa Hansle and Deb Freer of Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (AATA) will be there to discuss transportation services provided by their organizations, among others.
