July 31: Performers at Sounds and Sights on Thursday Nights

Sounds and Sights on Thursday Nights continues its free summer concert series Thursday, July 31 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

The music lineup celebrates the concert series 10th anniversary with returning favorites Trio Tumbao and Paul Vornhagen at Katie’s Korner on the library lawn and singer songwriter Ian Stewart at East Alley.

Folk-rock band View takes the stage at South Street and acoustic trio EBB Tide perform at the Clocktower Gazebo.

The North Creek Fiddlers will showcase bluegrass, country and Irish fiddle at East Middle Street Stage.

New to the line-up this year are alternative rockers, Arbor Reign, will be performing at the Glazier building and The Blenders who will perform popular songs from the 1930’s through the 1970’s at Sylvan Courtyard.

In addition to music, there is something for the whole family including fun balloons for the kids created by 3 Generations Twisters at the Main Street alley, and Eric the Juggler at the Clocktower Courtyard.

Visitors are also invited to experience the new installation of SculptureWalk Chelsea, a self-guided walking tour of 12 juried sculptures.
