This week the Chelsea Monitor Base Ball team will provide old-time games for kids of all ages across from the Clocktower Gazebo.  Under the gazebo, Town Band performs vintage band music from the 1880-1920 period. The band plays period appropriate instruments and dresses in period attire.

Magician Joe Fusco, also known as Magic Joe, entertains all ages at the kid’s stage, located near the Clocktower Complex fountain.  Magic Joe combines sleight-of-hand magic with family-friendly comedy for a show that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats.

The stellar music line-up includes Fumblin’ Tumbleweeds performing western swing and country at Katie’s Korner on the Library lawn, the Americana group The Shelter Dogs at West Middle Street and Cajun-Creole artists Sel de Terre on East Middle Street.

Singer-songwriter Mike Vial performs folk and pop at Chelsea Alehouse Brewery and solo artist Robyn showcases a mix of rock, pop and country at the East Alley stage.

New artist’s this week include the rock n’ roll band Sweet Melissa at the Glazier Building and the acoustic trio Kate Hinote and The Disasters at South Street. The Detroit based trio perform original material co-written by Kate Hinote, from the growing song book of the indie act The Blueflowers.

Chelsea Chalk Art, beneath the Chelsea Clocktower on Main Street, provides chalk and drawing examples for all ages and levels of expertise.  The theme this week is The Circus.

Spectators can also explore the new SculptureWalk Chelsea installations located throughout downtown. SculptureWalk Chelsea is an annual public arts project sponsored by the Chelsea DowntownDevelopment Authority, the City of Chelsea, Sounds & Sights on Thursday Nights, and River Gallery.
