The Education/Outreach team of Washtenaw Congregational Sanctuary (WCS), a new collaboration of Interfaith Council for Peace and Justice (ICPJ) and Washtenaw Interfaith Coalition for Immigrant Rights (WICIR), will offer a 90-minute workshop explain what is a congregational sanctuary on Sunday, June 11 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 20500 W Old US-12.
This is a free, public meeting open to all individuals, community groups or congregations looking to gain a better understanding of what providing support for sanctuary could mean in Washtenaw County.
You do not need to be a member of a faith community to be involved or to learn more.
