The spring Antiques Appraisal Day will be Saturday, May 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Dexter Area Museum, 3443 Inverness St.

Certified appraisers from DuMouchelles Art Gallery in Detroit will give a verbal appraisal during a 15-minute appointment for 1-2 items with a fee of $7 per item.

So, if you are wondering what something in your home might be worth, make an appointment and find out. You must be able to carry it into the museum for an appraiser to look it over. For an appointment, please call Sue at 424-9998.

On May 3, please call the museum for additional information at 426-2519.

Proceeds benefit the preservation and operation of the museum.
