The Chelsea Police Department advises motorists that on Monday, Oct. 13 and Tuesday, Oct. 14 there will be no eastbound turns permitted from southbound M-52 from about 8 a.m.-5 p.m. because of construction.
Police are advising motorists to find alternate routes and prepare for backups in the area.
Because of construction on M-52 at Old US 12, there will be no eastbound turns permitted onto E. Old US-12 from southbound M-52.
Southbound traffic will be shifted into the turn lane and permitted to only go south.
The temporary construction route is expected to cause some traffic congestion in this area, so please go a different way or leave some extra time to get through that area.
